8th Annual Harrisonburg
Gem, Mineral & Jewelry Show

October 22, 2010 thru October 24, 2010

This unique show features jewelry makers, gold and silversmiths from all over the United States that can size, reconstruct, repair, design or make original jewelry from customer selected gems, stones, opals and crystals on the spot. Wire wrap, wire sculpture, stone beads, pearls, stone setting, amber, opal, fossil and mineral dealers will be featured as part of the show. The dealers are hand picked for the quality of their work. Hourly door prizes. Grand Prize (A Gold Ring/with a precious stone) to be awarded on Sunday evening. You do not have to be present to win the Grand Prize.

Hot food and refreshments will be available prepared by the Briery Branch Community Club.

Sales Tax: The Fairgrounds is located in Rockingham County, Virginia and the present ( 2010 Show) sales tax rate is 5%.
We will supply a Form ST-50, Temporary Sales Tax Certificate/Return, good for this show only to each dealer. All dealers must file this form.
If you have a Virginia Sales & Use Tax number and will be reporting these sales on your regular form, then you still must file this form ST-50 but you provide only your name, business name, address, telephone number and your tax ID number. Do not report your sales.
All dealers must record the customers Sales Tax ID number if making wholesale sales without collecting sales tax. You do not report these sales on the form ST-50.

Located in Memorial Hall - 395 S. High Street, near entrance E. (Grace St. side of building).
The museum is open to the public Monday through Friday from 8:00am to 4:30 pm.
You must go to the office just inside the Main Entrance and get a parking pass to avoid getting a parking ticket.

Plenty of camping spots with electrical hookups (20Amp) & water near our building.
The Fairgrounds is planning a major renovation of their campground which will include 50 amp & 30 amp electrical hookups.
Camping is seperate from the public parking area. Dump station. Showers and restrooms.
$18.00/night. Please checkin at the Fairgrounds office upon your arrival.

It will be the responsiblity of the camper to report to the Fairgrounds office which is located in the building our show is in, upon arrival and pay their camping fee. The office is open from 8:00am to 4:30pm Monday - Friday. If you arrive to late on Thursday you must go to the office first thing on Friday morning and pay your camping fee. Anyone failing to pay their camping fee will removed from the campground and the show.
